One of the hardest parts of leadership is mustering the discipline and courage to focus. Too many initiatives splinters time, money, and attention in too many directions. I'll help you zero in on what matters.

There must be joy!

Mission-driven organizations exist to do important, inspiring work in the world. But overwhelm and overwork can snuff out the spark. It doesn’t have to be that way. I'll help you find the joy and ease alongside impact and strategic clarity.

Listen to the people you serve

I believe that people are the best solvers of their own problems. I am committed to deep listening at every stage of our collaboration - and will help you create more ways to listen to the people and communities at the center of your work.

Learning happens over time

If an organization is going to change, people will need to learn something new and grow in ways that might be tricky. I'll help you name what people need to learn and how to make it happen - and then create thoughtful routines for reflecting on progress and adjusting course.

Change is social & emotional

Relationships, trust, hopes and fears, buy-in, and power dynamics can enable or inhibit a team’s ability to make good on a smart plan. I will help you get to the root of how people feel and how they can work better together.
